Old Name: U.T.O.P.I.A. Seattle (United Territories of Pacific Islanders Alliance – Seattle)
New Name: UTOPIA WA (United Territories of Pacific Islanders Alliance – Washington)

The name change comes after a long decision between the founder/Executive Director and the board, as a result of a rebranding effort designed to mirror the growth and transformation of our organization throughout the State of Washington, that empowers our Queer/Trans Pacific Islander (QTPI) and Queer/Trans Black, Indigenous, People of Color (QTBIPOC) communities.
